![]() ![]() Well a true type font consists of a "closed Loop" filled with color. I wanted a font that was like if you wrote something on a piece of paper, a single line! After hours and hours or research and getting all kinds of "single line fonts" I found a solution.įirst most of us might (or might not) have TTF (true type fonts) installed and/or use them in design work as the are much sharper than OTF (open type fonts). All this was fine and dandy but still couldn't do very small fonts. I could vector, but always got an outline. I could raster engrave to a point, then the font became so small it was totally blurry. Substrate being mainly wood and sometime acrylic and anodized aluminum. I also was having problems trying to engrave very small fonts. Sorry if this isn't totally technically correct. I will try and explain what I learned the best way I can. My two cents about what I have learned about fonts. ![]()
